Another GardenWise project underway located in the Spring Valley neighborhood in NW WASHINGTON, DC. We are giving this English Tudor a fresh entrance and significantly more curb appeal. We are starting by adding a pair of wide stone columns (that matches the stone work on the house and flanks the front stone entry walk. A new flat top double cedar gate will be added between the new stone piers, which will relate to the new square picket cedar fence that will run along the driveway and street frontage, on both sides of the stone piers. We are also adding a more substantial stone front landing, a wider concrete aggregate driveway with Belgian block rowlock border. The landscape components, lighting and irrigation will hopefully be added in 2020. #curbappeal #frontentryredux #englishtudorarchitecture ... See MoreSee Less

One of GardenWise’s early Morris-Day clients from exactly twenty years ago came back for a phase II. Which includes replacing all of the old unsightly brick walls with a stone face and natural stone cap. We are also replacing the old outdated lamp posts with new pier lights inline with the home’s architectural transformation. All of the landscape lighting is being replaced as well. Hopefully we will be landscaping in the spring.#artsandcrafts #masonrystonewalls #landscapelighting ... See MoreSee Less
